Military Support

The military sector often requires assistance to support deployments of frontline forces and in the provision of support for outsourced second line services.

Contraction of defence budgets across the western world has meant that increasingly support services are provided from private companies for aircraft maintenance, component maintenance, training and other second line activities.

Used military aircraft are increasingly being sold to developing world countries often where there is a major challenge for local infrastructure to support these complex systems.

Manpower Support
Resource Group provides manpower support for all these activities enabling our clients to deliver platform availability which is often the key driver for military support.

This includes the provision of:

·    Aircraft technicians for maintenance programmes
·    Dedicated managed teams for upgrade programmes
·    Aircraft maintenance specialists to cover front line
     deployments
·    Aircrew for outsourced second line operations such as SAR
·    Pilots and operational staff for UAV operations

Training
The harmonisation of military airworthiness standards with EASA standards amongst NATO nations is delivering a trend towards EASA Part 147 based training for technicians performing maintenance work on military aircraft.

Resource Group via our joint venture with Lufthansa (LRTT)
are able to provide training for:

·    Apprentice training to equivalent of EASA Mil Part 66
     category A & B1/B2
·    Multi skill training
·    Human Factors
