Resource Group underwent an ISO9001:2008 TickIT audit in June in which the auditor considered the proposal to add Systems Engineering to the scope of approval. Following a day concentrating on both Systems Engineering projects and methodology, the auditor had no hesitation recommending that the certificate amendment was approved.
The UK Space industry has been promised almost £200 million of investment do develop state of the art space technology, to support the goal of securing 10% of the space market for the UK by 2030. More than 50 suppliers and organisations took part in the conference, including the UK and European Space Agencies. ESA astronaut Tim Peake was also in attendance. Resource Group's stand at the Conference in Glasgow was manned by Dr Jane Flower, Head of Systems Engineering and Matthew Noonan, Project Manager.
