Making a Booking

Q How do I know what course is right for me? 
A If you are unsure of which course to do, contact us and we can offer you advice on the best course and options for you.
Q What qualifications do I need to hold to sit the courses with you? 
A You will not need any previous qualifications to sit our courses, however, for most of our courses you will be required to have aviation maintenance work experience. If you would like further details, please contact us.
Q Do I need to do any prior reading before attending the class?
A No. We will provide all the information and notes you require during the course.
Q How do I make a booking?
A Making a booking is easy. All of our courses have a “Course Booking” form found on our website course pages. Please complete the first two pages of the form and return it to us making sure you have signed it.
Q How much is the deposit?
A The deposit required is 10% of the course cost and is non refundable.
Q When do I have to pay the outstanding course fees?
A Our Terms and Conditions state that the course fees are to be paid in full 4 weeks prior to the course start date. For bookings made after this time, full payment will be required immediately.
Q When is the latest I can make a booking?
A Due to availability we advise that courses are booked as soon as possible. We can accept late bookings but there is a risk that you miss your preferred start date as the specific course is full. Courses are sold on a first come, first served basis. Please note that we are unable to reserve or provisionally book places.

Q What courses do you run?
A A list of all our courses can be found on our training course web page.
Q Do I have to sit all modules in one go?
A No. If you are sitting a course that is broken down into modules, you can sit as many or as few modules at a time as you want. This allows you to fit the course around your other commitments.
Q What do I need to bring with me?
A You must bring photographic ID so that we can check your identification. We accept a passport, photo driving licence or any other form of photo ID. We cannot accept any Identification that is not issued with a photo. All other material will be provided for you. Please note that all non EEA students will be required to bring their passport.
Q Do you run the exams in-house? If so, when?
A Yes. As an Approved Part-147 Training Organisation, our exams are run in-house for all approved courses. We generally run the exams on the morning following the end of the particular module.
Q How much will my exams cost?
A The exams are included in the price of the training course. If a resit is required, the first resit is free but after that the exams are charged at £40 + VAT per exam.
Q What is the resit policy?
A For approved courses you must wait 90 days in order to resit an exam.
Q I can’t view course content in my current browser?

  • If you experience problems accessing the course, please try using a different browser. For Example Google Chrome.
  • The latest version of Flash Player is used.

Travel & Accommodation

Q Where can I stay during my time at Resource group?
A We can provide a list of local accommodation, some of which we have negotiated company discounts.
Q Can you book my accommodation for me?
A No, unfortunately we do not offer this service. All accommodation must be booked by you or your company.


Q When do I receive my certificate? 
A Certificates will be sent out to you once all courses you are booked to attend have been completed. This normally takes a few weeks from your last training day. We endeavour to issue certificates as quickly as possible.
Q I want to sit a course with you and my employer is funding it. Is this ok? 
A Yes, as long as you provide us with all the relevant information that we ask for, we can invoice your company directly.
Q Can I use ELC funding from the armed forces against your courses?
A Yes. We are an approved ELCAS provider allowing us to accept ELC funding. Our registered provider number is 1472.
