NEW Advanced Composite Training Course available for individuals

In the current climate, we understand how important it is to ensure your training and knowledge is maintained to a high standard. Sometimes, this isn’t always possible without an employer to support with the costs; so for a limited time, we are offering our Advanced Composite Course to individuals. This equates to a 78% saving on the usual training course cost for 8 students. Our Advanced Composites Training course is designed to give experienced structural technicians, airframe mechanics or maintenance personnel the knowledge and practical skills to identify and repair damage to complex composite structures.

This composite training course is aimed at those who will be assessing damage on composite parts and performing composite repairs. The course is a mixture of theoretical and practical composite training which is delivered at our training facility at Cotswold Airport in Gloucestershire. Our approach to this type of programme is to focus on practical training and for this we utilise our purpose built composite facility to train students in the latest techniques.

The Advanced Composite course encompasses all content from the Basic Composite training as well as expanding student knowledge and skills. The training will include the following elements:
• Damage identification and assessment
• Damage removal and core removal procedure
• Wet lay-up repair and honeycomb core repair
• Hot bonding repair and vacuum bagging procedures

The open Advanced Composite Course is being run from 16th – 27th November 2020, with a limited number of 8 places. Please get in touch as soon as possible if you would like to book.
