New year, new team!

New year, new team! The Training Development function has welcomed 2019 with the addition of two fantastic instructional designers to its growing department.

We are pleased that Laure-Astrid Barker and Paul Young have joined us, each bringing new skills to the team. Laure has a varied background in education and business and marketing, providing a strong platform for her key role of syllabus and curriculum planning. This much-needed skill will be frequently utilized as our expansion continues.

Paul has extensive eLearning and graphic design experience and has already established himself as a valuable member of the team. Paul has the exciting task of improving our eLearning development capabilities, allowing us to provide better learning experiences for our clients.

We have already outgrown our small office space and can’t wait to get hold of the keys to the new office located at the air traffic control tower on Kemble airfield. This new area will provide us with the space to grow as we take on more projects, while remaining in close proximity to our colleagues in the hangar.

The year ahead is looking incredibly busy for the team, with various project outputs in the pipeline. Notably, we are increasing production rates on a large project for BAE Systems SDT in Saudi Arabia. We are also project planning for a content management database to help manage the vast amount of material we deal with daily. This will help speed up build and development times for new material and version updates.

We look forward to working with our clients, diversifying our services and growing the team further in 2019.
