Resource Group and Lincoln University College agree a proposal for an examination centre in Malaysia

Resource Group’s Aviation Technical Training division is set to expand with a base in Malaysia following the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Lincoln University College.

The cooperation between the two organisations will initially create an EASA Part 66 examination centre in the region. Examinations will take place at Lincoln University College in Kuala Lumpur as a fully approved second site under Resource Group’s EASA Part-147 approval.

Secondary activity will aim to deliver modular training for experienced maintenance staff seeking EASA Part 66 qualifications and the delivery of fully approved EASA Part 66 training courses for new starters to the industry.

Ian Fitzpatrick, Managing Director of the division said: “The cooperation with Lincoln University College will offer access to EASA Part 66 qualifications for both experienced personnel and enthusiastic young engineers alike. We are looking forward to this exciting development in support of the growing demand for aviation maintenance technicians in the Far East.”

Operations are set to commence in July 2016.
