Resource Group attend EAMTC Instructor Conference

Greetings from Switzerland! Our two team members Chris Potter (Resource Group Technical Instructor) and Laure Barker (Instructional Designer) attended this year’s EAMTC Instructor Conference. It was a very successful, well-attended seminar with EAMTC members like Resource Group who participated in a combination of workshops and industry-expert led talks.

We loved sharing good practice on learning and assessment methods with other Part-147 organisations. Bram Van Driel, EASA representative, discussed regulation development including the new basic regulation and a range of upcoming changes, including a review of Part-66. The changes proposed include a focus on competency-based teaching, new technologies including e-learning, simulation and blended teaching methods.

As a key player in the industry, Resource Group is truly in line with this vision with the recent launch of brand new e-learning modules  (EWIS, Fuel Tank Safety, Human Factors). In addition to this, Laure Barker and the Learning Design team are excited to announce the start of a large review of our Part-66 training material. New course syllabus, training notes and other resources will be released over the next two years and strengthening our classroom offering even further and highlight the team’s full capability.
