Resource Group Basingstoke hosts first quarterly Lunch Club

On Friday, November 11th, Resource Group's office in Basingstoke held its first quarterly Lunch Club. Lunch Club is an initiative that was introduced by Director of Operations Jon Ruckwood to celebrate the positive contributions and influences in the Basingstoke team.

“I wanted to introduce the lunch club to reward people within the office. We have a number of individuals who are non-billing but provide so much to the business on a daily basis,” Jon said. “This demonstrates to others the level expected, while showing how grateful we are of those individuals going above and beyond helping our business grow.”

The inaugural Lunch Club recipients included Anita Traynor (Payroll Administrator), Rebecca Cottrell (Resourcer), Rosemarie Mitchell (APAC Flight Crew Specialist), and one of the newest members of the Resource Group team, Alison Bartlett (Recruitment Consultant). Alison, in her short time as part of the Basingstoke team, has made a hugely positive impact.

“With only being with Resource Group since July this year, and having come from a corporate environment, it’s really nice to have company appreciation shown,” Alison said. “I was really grateful to have the time to sit down with colleagues and enjoy a meal together, which we would not usually be able to do.”

Lunch Club took place at the historical Longbridge Mill, an 800-year old converted mill on the river Loddon.

The next Lunch Club had been scheduled for the new year. We’re looking forward to seeing the contributions of more members of the Resource Group family celebrated.
