Resource Group’s brand new Fuel Tank Safety eLearning is now available

Resource Group’s Fuel Tank Safety training has been designed to equip students to account for the everyday challenges posed by the Fuel Tank Safety issues ensuring continued airworthiness of aircraft.

We have a range of three courses including Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 2 Continuation. EASA mandate that refresher/continuation training is carried out every 2 years.

The  Phase 1 course is aimed at those who represent the maintenance management structure, the quality manager and staff required to quality monitor the organisation.

This Phase 2 course is aimed at those who are required to plan, perform, supervise, inspect and certify the maintenance of aircraft and its fuel system components.

The course is delivered in an interactive format that will guide you through all the required subject matter, covering fuel system safety issues including:

·        Introduction to the SFAR 88

·        Investigation of historical events

·        Factors for fuel tank explosion

·        Consequences

·        Airworthiness limitations

·        Fuel tank safety and maintenance

·        Preventing fuel tank explosions

·        Service bulletins

·        Entering aircraft fuel tanks

On successful completion of the course and exam a certificate of completion will be available.
