Airbus Helicopters are now recruiting for our 2021 Aircraft Maintenance Fitter – Technician (Fixed & Rotary wing) programme.

What can you expect?
Over a 4 year duration you will complete a fully approved CAT B training course at our chosen training provider – LRTT Ltd – based at their training facility in the Cotswolds and then go on to join our teams in Kidlington for on the job training to build your practical experience.
You will be supported throughout the CAA and EASA fully approved programme – in which you will complete a number of mandated qualification and all the necessary CAA and EASA Part 66 modules – to allow you to apply for your CAT B licence.
The programme is a balanced and dynamic mix of practical and theoretical learning with real time experience and structured development in the workplace – working alongside instructors, assessors and engineers with many years of knowledge and experience to pass on.
Your passion will be turned into practical experience in an exciting live environment where you will have the opportunity to learn and develop all of the key skills required to start your career in aircraft engineering.
What do we need to see?
A minimum of five GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent including English, Maths and a Science subject.
A passion for aviation and engineering is a must and any experience with mechanical or electrical equipment would be an advantage.
A problem solver who can work both alone and in teams.
Someone with high standards of integrity that can match the demands of the employer and the aviation maintenance sector.
