We are currently searching for experienced Apprenticeship Standards Assessors to join our established team based in Cotswold airport, Kemble near Cirencester. This is an opportunity to work in the Aviation Technical Training (ATT) division of Resource Group. ATT is an approved Part 147 company that trains and certifies aircraft maintenance engineers.

At Resource Group our customers rely on the right people to provide industry approved training to develop software and systems to improve business for our clients. We work with OEMs, operators and support businesses across Aviation, Aerospace, National Security and Defence markets as well as related technical markets and applications.

This would be the perfect chance for Apprenticeship Standards Assessors to join us as you will be responsible for managing a caseload of approximately 40 apprentices. You will also be required to satisfy Ofsted and employers engagement in the Apprenticeship programme.

Responsibilities:

Assessing apprenticeship competence against current Apprenticeship Standards
Conducting 12 week progress reviews with learners using a reflective style of review
Preparing and submitting review reports to LRTT, Employers and Apprentices
Completing 6 week interim support reviews with apprentices
Setting goals, targets, work based tasks, stretch and challenge activities within designated caseloads
Attend quarterly standardisation meetings and training sessions
Maintain apprentice progression on the current MIS
Maintain accurate CPD records with monthly activities

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years assessor experience is preferable more recently assessment of Apprentice Standards
D32, D33, A1, AVA
Level 3 Diploma in Engineering (Aviation) or equivalent
Ability to achieve Enhanced DBS
Up-to-date knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards

Advantageous:

D34, IQA, V1
Level 4 Diploma in Engineering (Aviation) or equivalent
Level 3 Teaching/Training Qualification (PTLLS, AET, TAQA) or above
Experience in the use of e-portfolios (Pivot) to gather and assess evidence of competence
Proven experience and training in Safeguarding, PREVENT and British Values
