On behalf of our client, a leading specialty manufacturer serving global Aerospace and Defense markets who design, manufacture and market highly engineered products, we are searching for a Platform Cyber Security and Compliance Lead to join their team based in Hampshire on a 6 month fixed term contract.
As a Platform Cyber Security and Compliance Lead you will ensure that the security infrastructure is up to date, working with IT teams and compliance officers to configure and implement the framework for security certification.
Ideally you would be someone who is collaborative and technically skilled as you will be working in a challenging, global manufacturing environment with direct responsibility for tools, platforms and processes required to secure their infrastructure, data and identities. You will also provide input, feedback and mentorship to IT colleagues.
In collaboration with IT Director and the EAS leadership, you will be responsible for leading the work streams, and managing the tools, platforms and processes, supporting security operations.
Continuous monitoring, event response and security assessment to be built into the pillars of the Security System and within your direct responsibility.
Advise IT and business leaders on emerging threats to the Platform and the current security posture.
Design and implement security solutions that measurably improve Information Security.
Align with company compliance officers to understand and translate business and legal requirements into practical, technical solutions.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information systems, or certification in a similar course of study, and vast security engineer experience or proven relevant professional experience.
Proven work experience with security frameworks and regulations with any or all of the following: GDPR, ISO 27001, ISO 27002, Cyber Essentials Plus, Sarbanes Oxley, DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement)
Proven work experience, minimum 5 years, in designing and maintaining security systems across complex and distributed global environments.
Hands on experience architecting, developing, implementing and maintaining security operations, including, but not limited to; threat & vulnerability management; governance, risk management and compliance platforms; mobile device and application management platforms; network and endpoint forensics tools.
Demonstrated ability as a team player that is able to both work and lead in a matrixed environment.
