About Vacancy

On behalf of our client based in Ireland, Resource Group are currently seeking a Technical Director to join their team on a permanent basis.

As the Technical Director you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the requirements of EASA Part M and managing any safety risks related to continuing airworthiness activities.

Key responsibilities:

Ensure CAMO compliance with the Safety Management System.
Ensure that all required maintenance is carried out on time and to an approved standard through close oversight of the contracted Part 145 maintenance organisation.
Negotiate implementation and oversight of contracts/sub-contracts in respect of the Part M Subpart G approval.
Manage the retention of all technical records.
Develop and control the Aircraft Maintenance Programmes for the aircraft managed including the Reliability Programme.
Evaluate and process mandatory data (ADs), and non-mandatory data SBs, SLs, AOMs, issued by the aircraft and engine manufacturer.
Report all significant technical findings and data ambiguities to the relevant manufacturer.
Ensure that the aircraft weight and balance statements reflect the current status of the aircraft.
Liaison with aircraft, engine, component manufacturers on technical issues and incident investigation.
Production and development of the company De-icing, CAT II/III, RVSM, Weighing, Painting, Check Flight and other specific engineering procedures and forms.
Maintain validity of all aircraft certificates.
Ensure all corrective actions are completed for all non-conformances related to CAMO activities.
Issue and/or extend the ARC on each aircraft in the fleet.
Liaison with the IAA for matters related to continuing airworthiness and maintenance activities.
In conjunction with the Flight Operations department, production and development of the company Minimum Equipment List.
Planning of required manpower to ensure the CAMO activities are resourced adequately.

Qualifications/Experience:

A relevant aeronautical degree or equivalent or aircraft maintenance technician qualification (EASA Part 66 Licence). OR At least 5 years relevant work experience in the aeronautical industry in a Part M role.
Languages and level: English level 5
